Skye Ali is an illustrator/idealist with an emotional hemorrhage. With a worn sketchbook in hand, she lives her quiet life trying to visualize different stories, emotions, and atmospheres. A fervent book lover, she is also passionate about mental and emotional well-being, and her work often touches upon subjects such as depression and the stigma surrounding mental illnesses.

In the summer of 2017, Skye launched and successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign for her graphic novel, "For When You Can't Sleep At Night" -- a compilation of comics illustrating her experience with depression. While the fund goal was initially $750 for a run of 50 books, over 400 people helped raise $10,264 for the project. It's humbling to know that her book is now in the hands of people all over the world.

Skye currently lives with her husband and daughter in North Carolina.
